I've given 10+ public talks on React, Next.js, Gatsby, ISR, and the maths under a perceptron — at conferences, meetups, and an Obytes-hosted webinar. I also hold a Guinness World Record for organising one of the largest hackathons in history, and won first prize at the LeMatin Hackathon for a 36-hour build.
I run two kinds of engagements:
#Conference & meetup talks
30 – 60 minute sessions on what I'm actually shipping that quarter — recent topics:
- Building an LLM gateway in the open — what running llmgateway.io (1.1K stars, SOC 2 Type II, $335K transacted) has taught me about open-source product strategy, pricing, and SOC 2 as a solo founder.
- Server state vs. client state in modern React, and the architecture I've been pushing at Axis Communications.
- Roll your own auth — the case against pulling in another
npm installfor authentication. - TanStack Start, the missing piece — the case for going meta-framework-light.
- Performance, real Lighthouse numbers, and how to keep them green after launch.
#Team workshops (half-day or 2-day)
Hands-on, code-along workshops with a private repo I keep up to date. Most common briefs:
- Modern Next.js, end-to-end — App Router, Server Components, caching, streaming, and where it stops being a good idea.
- Testing React in 2025 — Vitest + React Testing Library + Playwright, the same stack I'm introducing at Axis Communications.
- From CRA / legacy Gatsby to Next.js — the migration playbook I've run for several teams.
- React Native, the production parts — Fastlane releases, Detox E2E, version-upgrade hygiene.
Everything is delivered in English, Arabic or French. Available remote or in-person within Europe.
If your team wants to level up — or your event needs a speaker who builds the things he talks about — drop me a line.
